Situated at the altitude of 10,000 ft. above sea level, and known as the flower valley is a magnificent place to visit. Once it was a trading route between Tibet and Turkistan. The valley though looks dry but is a very fertile land to grow barley, apples and apricots and farming is the prime profession of the natives of this area. Most of the year this place and people are isolated due to heavy snowfall. People here are very friendly. Travelling on the highest motorable road at 18,380 ft. through Khardungla Pass reaches you to Nubra valley. Two rivers Shyok and Nubra increase the beauty of the valley. The valley has recently been opened to the tourists. The monasteries and ruins of palaces are worth seeing.

Your information related with Ladakh motor biking is valuable. I had been there in Ladakh, through http://www.tourismladakh.com and they provided me a very good package. There adventure tours are very interesting.
